به طور کلی سنسور فشار خلاء (Vacume) به سنسورهای فشاری گفته می شود که قادر به اندازه‌گیری فشار مکش (ساکشن Suction) و یا فشار های منفی (کمتر از فشار اتمسفر) می باشند.
خرید سنسور فشار خلاء
مهم ترین مواردی که قبل از خرید سنسور فشار خلاء باید به آنها توجه کرد Pressure Range (محدوده فشار) و Reference Pressure یا فشار مرجعی است که قرار است میزان خلاء سیستم نسبت به آن اندازه‌گیری کنیم. بنابراین ابتدا باید شناخت کافی نسبت به مطالبی که در ادامه به آنها خواهیم پرداخت داشته باشیم.

خلاء یا وکیوم چیست

منظور از خلاء یا وکیوم Vacuum محدوده فشاری است که ما بین فشار صفر مطلق (Absolute Zero Pressure) و فشار اتمسفر (Atmospheric Pressure) قرار دارد. در واقع وکیوم یا خلاء زمانی اتفاق می افتد که فشار مطلق داخل یک سیستم کمتر از فشار اتمسفر خارج از سیستم باشد.

کیفیت خلاء (Vacuum Level or Degree of Vacuum) بسته به نوع خلوص آن با اصطلاحات مختلفی بیان می شود که در بخش واژه نامه فنی به معرفی کامل هر یک پرداخته شده است. این اصطلاحات عبارتند از:

Low Vacuum (LV), Medium Vacuum (MV), High Vacuum (HV), Ultra-High Vacuum (UHV), Extremely High Vacuum (XHV), Interstellar Space and Perfect Vacuum.

  1. انواع فشار بر اساس فشار مرجع

در یک سنسور فشار Pressure Sensor، همواره اندازه‌گیری فشار نسبت به فشار مرجع Reference Pressure موجود در پشت دیافراگم سنسور انجام می شود. بنابراین بسته به نوع فشار مرجع، سنسور های فشار به 3 دسته زیر تقسیم می شوند:

  • فشار ابسلوت

در یک سنسور فشار ابسلوتPressure Sensor  Absolute، اندازه‌گیری فشار نسب به خلاء کامل (Perfect Vacuum or Full Vacuum) انجام می شود. این بدین معنی است که فشار پشت دیافراگم سنسور، تقریباً برابر با صفر مطلق یا خلاء کامل می باشد.

  • فشار گیج

در یک سنسور فشار گیج، اندازه‌گیری فشار همواره نسبت به فشار هوای اتمسفرAtmospheric Pressure انجام می شود. یک سنسور فشار گیج  Gauge Pressure Sensorخود به دو دسته ونتد گیج Vented Gauge و سیلد گیج Sealed Gauge تقسیم می شود.

  • فشار دیفرانسیل

سنسور فشار دیفرانسیل Differential دارای دو پورت فشار مجزا است که می تواند اختلاف فشار میان 2 نقطه متفاوت (ΔP) در یک سیستم را اندازه‌گیری کند. یک سنسور فشار تفاضلی (دیفرانسیل) خود به 2 دسته Unidirectional و Bidirectional تقسیم می شوند

انواع سنسور فشار بر اساس محدوده اندازه‌گیری یا بازه اندازه‌گیری فشار

یکی از پارامترهای بسیار مهم هنگام خرید سنسور فشار ، محدوده فشار قابل اندازه گیری Pressure Range می باشد. سنسورهای فشار از نظر محدوده فشار به 3 دسته زیر تقسیم می شوند:

سنسور فشار مثبت

معمولاً برای این دسته از سنسورهای فشار نام خاصی در نظر گرفته نشده است و منظور از سنسور فشار مثبت، یک سنسور فشار از نوع گیج است که فقط قادر به اندازه‌گیری فشار های بیشتر از فشار اتمسفر می باشد. (به طور مثال ترانسمیتر فشار ویکا A-10 با محدوده فشار 10–0 بارbar)

سنسور فشار وکیوم یا سنسور فشار خلاء

به یک سنسور فشار گیج Gauge Pressure Sensor که فقط قادر به اندازه‌گیری فشارهای منفی یا پایین تر از فشار هوای اتمسفر باشد، سنسور فشار وکیوم Vacuum گفته می شود. (به طور مثال ترانسمیتر فشار 21Y کلر با محدوده فشار 0–1- بار bar)

سنسور فشار ترکیبی

در صورتی که یک سنسور فشار گیج قادر به اندازه‌گیری همزمان فشارهای مثبت و منفی باشد به آن سنسور فشار ترکیبی یا Compound Pressure Sensor گفته می شود. ( به طور مثال ترانسمیتر فشار Huba 525  با محدوده فشار 7–1- بارbar)
اندازه‌گیری خلاء یا وکیوم
به طور معمول اندازه‌گیری خلاء توسط یک سنسور فشار گیج از نوع خلاء یا ترکیبی و یا توسط یک سنسور فشار ابسولوت انجام می شود. انتخاب میان این دو سنسور فشار به این بستگی دارد که تمایل داشته باشید اندازه‌گیری فشار خلاء نسبت به Atmospheric Pressure انجام شود یا نسبت به Perfect Vacuum. بنابراین سوال مهمی که پیش می آید این است که:

تفاوت میان خوانش فشار در Vacuum Gauge و  Vacuum Absolute چیست؟

یا به عبارت دیگر تفاوت میان خوانش فشار وکیوم توسط سنسور فشار گیج و سنسور فشار ابسولوت چیست؟

در سنسور فشار گیج، Vacuum Gauge نسبت به فشار هوای محیط و در جهت منفی اندازه‌گیری می شود. به طور مثال میزان خلاء خوانده شده توسط یک سنسور فشار Gauge در فشار اتمسفر معادل 0 bar می باشد. چنانچه فشار ساکشن 0.25 بار bar به سنسور اعمال شود، میزان خلاء خوانده شده توسط سنسور برابر با 0.25- بار bar می باشد.

اما در سنسور فشار ابسولوت، Vacuum Absolute نسبت به خلاء کامل و در جهت مثبت اندازه‌گیری می شود. به طور مثال میزان Vacuum خوانده شده توسط یک سنسور فشار Absolute در فشار اتمسفر معادل فشار بارومتریک Barometric Pressure یا حدوداً برابر با 1.015 بار bar می باشد. چنانچه فشار  Suction ساکشن 0.25 بار bar به سنسور اعمال شود، میزان وکیوم خوانده شده توسط سنسور برابر با 0.765+ بار bar می باشد.
کاربرد سنسور فشار ترکیبی
از سنسور فشار خلاء Vacuum و سنسور فشار ترکیبی Compound در بسیاری از Application یا کاربردهای صنعتی و تحقیقاتی استفاده می شود که برخی از آنها عبارتند از

اتوکلاو های صنعتی Industrial Autoclave، تست نشتی Leak Testing، استرایلیزاسیون Sterilization، فرآوری نیمه رسانه ها Semiconductor Processing و شبیه سازی ارتفاع Altitude Simulation و غیره.
